Kenneth R Caudill 21 of Willard was charged with drunken driving after his car sideswiped a vehicle driven by James M Buurma 37 also of Willard on U S 224 three miles east of the Seneca Huron County line. Buurma's car left the road but no major injuries were reported.

Two boxes of bees were dumped on Pleasant Street late Sunday night. The night patrolman saw bees flying around the mercury lights at Pleasant and Main all night. A local bee expert advised spraying the boxes to destroy the bees.

In Norwalk a 16 year old, Rick L. Griggs, reported his 17 year old brother Stewart was assaulted in the Thrif T Mart parking lot. Stewart received a broken nose and was treated at a hospital. Police forwarded the case to juvenile court.
