Deputy Held After High Speed Chase Impersonation Case
Larry A. Case an 18 year old from Laurel Rd was charged with driving while intoxicated and jailed after a high speed chase. Police received three complaints of a man flashing a badge and Case was reportedly seen at Main St and Model Cleaners. He fled down Seminary Foster Bank Woodlawn and collided with a coal hopper car in a fog. The badge may lead to impersonating an officer with Huron County Prosecutor’s office reviewing.

Norwalk Wins $19,320 Sewage Planning Grant
Norwalk will receive a $19,320 federal planning advance to study enlarging the city sewage plant. Unemployed Welders to Enroll in Sandusky Courses
Thirty two unemployed welders from Huron and Erie Counties will be chosen for two 10 week welding courses at Sandusky High School under the Federal Manpower Development and Training Act. Courses begin January 4 and March 22 with 30 hours per week. Huron County men may obtain information and applications at the Ohio State Employment Service.
