A Sentry survey shows 71 percent back the idea and 78 percent expect new capital, with 82 percent hoping to keep reinsurance from leaving to London. But opinions differ on potential volume and underwriting talent, while regulation preferences lean toward minimal oversight and strong support against federal control.
