Arkansas state police and Texas authorities held a man in San Angelo on suspicion of involvement in a plan to kill Gov. Winthrop Rockefeller. An Arkansas official reported a threat to another state official, while Maj. Kenneth McKee confirmed the arrest and said he had heard of the assassination conspiracy.
