Firelands Co-Op Defeats Plan To Cut Board Terms
Firelands Electric Cooperative members voted 310 to 136 to reject a proposal limiting trustees to two consecutive terms. Incumbents Royce Ganz Ted Beck and Robert Zimmerman were re elected to three year terms. An amendment to allow more flexible annual meeting scheduling passed, moving the meeting window to the first 15 days of November.

Correction on Harner indictment in vehicular homicide case
The Reflector corrects Thursday’s report. Ricky L. Harner 16 New London is charged in juvenile court with two counts of vehicular homicide for an Oct. 27 collision that killed two Collins men. The case has not been presented to a grand jury.
