Ralph Ellison, praising Rep. Adam Clayton Powell before a Senate subcommittee, says most Negro politicians serve machines but Powell represents Negroes. In Bournemouth England ex Santa Claus Harry Ashley condemns a department store for ending his post, saying many children will be upset.
A spokesman for U S Rep Rodney Love says President Johnson would address the Montgomery County Fair next Monday. Johnson also planned a possible stop in Lancaster and was invited by the Building Trades Council and the Miami Valley AFL-CIO which back Love for re election.

The Norwalk Area United Fund and the Huron County Red Cross have moved into 2 E Seminary St in the former First United Presbyterian Church building. The Norwalk Chamber of Commerce plans to move after renovations with no definite date. Parke says staff moved today and the telephone number remains unchanged. The groups previously shared space in the Huron County Bank building and Benedict Avenue building.
