Accident Epidemic Hits Area
A string of crashes injure multiple residents. Thomas Nealon, 20, Kalamazoo Michigan, suffers head lacerations and a skull fracture and is listed in fair condition at Fisher-Titus. Stanley Naikauskas, 51, Windsor Ontario, and his wife Dana Naikauskas, 41, receive chin lacerations. Willie Boone, 20, and Larry Oney, 21, residents of Greenwich, sustain facial and knee injuries with Oney listed as possibly having a jaw fracture. Roger Edler, 20, New London, treated for nose lacera tions after a two car collision on Route 224 at Route 298. Hunter cited for driving left of center. Martin Thompson, 51, Chicago, cited for passing at an intersection after colliding with Gerard Van Laar, 69, of Celeryville. Two Greenwich youths admitted to Fisher-Titus after a Griffin Road crash. Boone cited for reckless operation.

An unknown tractor trailer struck a mobile home truck driven by Clint Towne, 41, Bryan, on E Main St at 6 15 p m yesterday, pushing the truck into a parked car owned by Donald T Hohler, 26, 2 Richards St. Police said substantial damage occurred to both vehicles.
