New St Paul Band Director Roger Williams Prepares Opener
Roger Williams leads the revived St Paul Marching Band as director, rehearsing three hours daily four days weekly since February. The 60 member group mixes junior high and high school students, plans red blazer uniforms, and aims for a high stepping jazz style in the home opener against Monroeville on September 16. Williams commutes from Toledo and seeks a Norwalk apartment while eyeing a strong five year development for the band.
