EHOVE Counselor Preserves Local Interurban Streetcars
Paul Eckler, EHOVE guidance counselor and Route 18 farmer, collects two Lake Shore Electric interurban cars once used on Norwalk Cleveland routes. He preserves one as a woodworking shop while planning to sell the other, hoping to engage youth and former employees in remembering the era of electric trolleys.

Traffic Count Sought At Norfolk and Western Crossing
Ohio State Highway Department officials study a possible traffic count at the Norfolk and Western Railway crossing on North West Street after a council request dated August 6 for improved safety devices. Weeds near the crossing have been cut to aid visibility. Work on Norwalk's Municipal Sewage Plant starts September 1 with Price and Focht Construction Co. representatives to meet Toledo engineers.
