Norwalk High launches family ticket drive for 1967 68 events

A campaign to sell over 1 000 all sports tickets began with 33 residents contacting local businesses and residents to support Norwalk High athletics. Family tickets priced at 10 dollars admit a married couple and children under high school age to football basketball wrestling and track for 1967 68. A workers briefing is set for 8 p m Tuesday at the Columbia Gas Co meeting room. The Meet the Coaches program at Whitney Field starts at 7 tonight. Captains for the drive include Dr Norman Ross Jim Seitz Mike Meisler Gil Haynes and G Ira Liedorff.

Levy Filed For North Fairfield Tax Levy

The village of North Fairfield filed a 2 mill tax levy with the Huron County Board of Elections on Wednesday to cover current expenses. The levy would run five years beginning in 1967 and seek additional funds for village needs.

Stoplight Fix Averts Major Ohio Route Crash

Wayne Martin, 57, of Sandusky, remained in fair condition at the Cleveland Clinic after a collision with a tractor trailer on U.S. 20 at the Ohio 4 intersection. The stoplight, out for a month, was back in operation and workers were re lining the crossing to improve safety amid high truck traffic.
