Private plane crashes at Brunswick Airport kills pilot
In Medina County Ohio on takeoff a Piper Cherokee 260 crashed into a farm field beyond the Brunswick Airport runway. Pilot Walter Dodge about 50 Strongsville died trapped in the burning craft. Five skydivers aboard were injured while fleeing the flames and could not reach the wreckage.

Marines Kill 215 In Fierce Battle
Saigon reports a major Marine led assault near the DMZ. 215 Communist troops were killed in a six mile wide area near Gio Linh as U S Marines and South Vietnamese forces push toward the Ben Hai River.
