Twenty five Huron County women will attend the Northeast Region Farm Bureau Women's Rally on Oct 11 at Amherst Civic Center Massillon marking the 20th anniversary of Farm Bureau Women’s Committees. Mrs Jerrie Mock will be the featured speaker detailing world flights and notable aviation firsts.

4H Girls Club Picnic and Demonstrations at Park
A 4H girls club picnic occurred at Clarksfield State Park on Tuesday night during the ninth meeting hosted by advisor Mrs Arthuretta Carey who demonstrated finishing materials. The Norwalk Drifters 4-H Saddle Club held its third meeting August 3 with a candy sale and perfect attendance noted. Eunice Olcott and Susan Roy conducted demonstrations. The Norwalk City Needlers held their seventh meeting at Memorial Lake Park Shelter House with a picnic lunch and garment checks for older girls.
