Linda Rogers and Charles F. Furey Jr. married at 11 30 AM in St Pauls Catholic Church with Rev Martin Donnelly officiating. The couple, both 1965 graduates of St Pauls High School, plan a Canada honeymoon and are employed in local firms.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Roger A. Herchler return to Wakeman after a July wedding at Second Congregational Church. Mrs. Barbara Darlene Waldron wore a Chantilly lace gown. reception followed in Pilgrim Hall. The bride, a Sears employee, is daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Waldron. the groom is son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Herchler.

Burtscher 20 son of Mr and Mrs Walter H Burtscher Rt 1 Milan promoted to Army Specialist four June 28 while serving as a crane operator in the 124th Transportation Company near Cat Lai Vietnam. He entered the Army in July 1967 and completed basic training at Fort Knox. He was employed by Wakeman Barber Shop before enlisting.
Jane Margaret Donaldson wed Richard Henry Johannsen in a Birmingham Methodist Church ceremony officiated by Rev. Robert Brady. The bride wore a self sewn floor length brocaded pique gown with an A line silhouette and a white net veil, carrying daisies and baby’s breath. She is a nurse at Children's Hospital in Columbus. the groom is a farmer from Wakeman.
Barbara Becker reports 626 girls with 721 projects in clothing foods management baby sitting home furnishings and outdoor cookery will be judged next week.
