Columbus Officials Deny Tax Fraud Bribe Allegations

Nixon Holds Narrow Lead as Delegates Shift in Tilted Ballot

An 18 year old worker, Frank Allen, slipped on a wet floor at Fanny Farmer Candy Shops in Norwalk. Hot caramel spilled on him causing first and second degree burns to his right arm and face. he was admitted to Fisher Titus Memorial Hospital and is listed in satisfactory condition.

Liquor Ballot Issue Heads To New London Voters

A local option on liquor sales will appear on the November ballot in New London. Andrew Biro, owner of the Wonder Bar, filed the petition with the Huron County Board of Elections. The village now allows only 3.2 beer sales and past similar efforts have been rejected.
