Board Tangles Over Bus Supervisor Rehiring

The Board of Education voted 3-2 to renew a continuing contract for bus supervisor Oscar Hayes after a lengthy closed session. State Won’t Probe Sale

NEW LONDON The Ohio Division of Real Estate will not investigate allegations that William H Bates violated the Ohio Real Estate Law in a transaction concerning the sale of property to the village. A $160,000 civil lawsuit has been filed in Huron County Common Pleas Court. The division noted it can only handle license law violations and that the complainants could pursue court action regardless of its decision.
