Mental Clinic Caught In Power Play In Huron County
Judge Heydinger, a member of the 648 Board, drives a push to redefine county mental health as a forensic program serving juvenile court. He proposed bylaws changing authority and pushed for a single contract agency, while suspicions grow of controlling the Mental Health Center and related programs. Defaults, hires, and court ties color the controversy as board members dispute goals.
