Baboons Roam Free as Kings Island Fences Fail

Forty nine baboons escaped Thursday night and roamed beyond the Kings Island fence for a fifth day. Park officials plan to install electrified fencing to confine the animals and keep them inside after the switch is thrown.

Family Surprises Burglars In Home

A Richmond Township family returned home Sunday night to find intruders inside. One intruder was held until deputies arrived and two suspects, Bobby W. Ferguson 24 and Randy K. Kennard 19 of Willard, were later arrested. Willard police assisted the Huron County Sheriff. Adults held at Huron County Jail face breaking and entering charges. The pecans was released to his parents.

Stogner Forgery Hearing Set After Norwalk Return

Raymond R. Stogner arrested on forgery will face a preliminary hearing before Judge Omas E. Heydinger at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
