County group to spur day care for employees in Frederick
A new child care consortium, formed as part of the Frederick County Mental Health Association, aims to attract companies into establishing comprehensive day care for workers. It envisions a countywide central telephone and computerized system to match parents with day care, pooling resources, and a fall conference to raise awareness. The effort will address insurance, training, and logistical issues as it forms its own board separate from the association.
