Frederick man killed in Md 194 wreck near Taneytown
A Frederick man, Richard Sneadner, 44, died at the scene of an eight p.m. three vehicle crash on Md 194 near Taneytown. Roger Glass, 22, of Taneytown, crossed the center line and hit Catherine Smeak, 37, whose car was struck head on. Glass was flown to MIEMSS in Baltimore and listed in satisfactory condition Monday morning. Smeak and her 5 month old daughter were uninjured. Alcohol was listed as a factor and the investigation continues. Sneadner helped establish Walkersville High School football and was active in local youth baseball.

A Frederick 15 year old, Chris Routzahn, was hurt Saturday afternoon when he fell from his bike at a skateboard jump on Thorn Hill Place in Frederick Heights. He suffered a fractured neck and was in critical but stable condition Monday at the Maryland Institute for Baltimore after being flown there by state police helicopter.
