Maryland Comptroller runs unclaimed property ad campaign
The Maryland Comptroller's Office will run an eight page unclaimed property ad supplement in 29 papers through Oct 24 to locate about 6,000 owners of funds. The Frederick News Post will carry it Oct 22. Researchers can search 40,000 accounts online at marylandtaxes com and call 410-767-1700 or 1-800-782-7383 with questions.
