Baltimore reports Jeph Brady 38 of Westminster died from injuries after being struck by an automobile on Tan Street last night. William Pose 18 of Westminster also died at Mercy Hospital.

Baltimore November 18 AP James Alten 26 sought across the state to face charges of beating 19 year old Marie Bennett near a deserted country lane by Phoenix. She lies semi conscious at home under physicians care. Police report she ran along the highway screaming aided by local vets Dr Albert H Lins and Joseph Lins who found her. mother cannot recall full details. Scratches on her face may identify the attacker and finger marks show on neck and throat.
New York Nov 18 AP Dr Henry Suzzari was elected chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. His two year term follows his dismissal as president of the University of Washington in October. Suzzalo had served on the board since 1919.
Washington notes report a Democratic tax reform group endorses a permanent tax cut totaling 325000000.
