Jailbirds raise St. Jude funds at Maryland fundraiser
About 30 local volunteers dressed as jailbirds were handcuffed and jailed for an hour or more at Saturn of Frederick on Md 355 to raise bail money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Volunteers collected pledges, mug shots were taken, and a judge declared guilty of having big hearts.
