Judge upholds sex abuse convictions in Frederick case
Frederick County Circuit Court Judge Herbert L. Rollins rejected claims of ineffective assistance of trial counsel for Mark Steven Hazzard 32. Hazzard was convicted in early 1992 on three counts including second and third degree sexual offenses and child abuse and sentenced to 15 years with seven suspended plus five years probation. Firefighter injured in one alarm blaze and two car crash
A Wolfsville home was gutted by a one alarm fire Friday night injuring one firefighter with minor injuries to four others. The fire originated in the kitchen stove power supply and caused about 25 thousand dollars in damage. Earlier Thursday four people were treated after a two car collision on Md 464 at Horine Road. All involved were transported for minor injuries.
