Fugitive chemist Colbern arrested linking to Oklahoma City blast

Steven Garrett Colbern, a fugitive chemist with survival training, was arrested in Arizona after trying to draw a pistol on U.S. marshals. He faces federal gun charges in Phoenix and is eyed as a possible associate of Timothy McVeigh. Investigators searched his mobile home while probing ties to the bombing and John Doe No. 2. The case ties to the Oklahoma City disaster that killed 168, with McVeigh and Nichols facing potential death penalties. Colbern, once in Oxnard California, had recent links to McVeigh via mailbox and address information.
