Emissions testing set to begin June 1 in Maryland
After months of delays Maryland launches the Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program. About 27 000 vehicle owners including 1 200 in Frederick County will have eight weeks to test at 19 sites in Baltimore city Frederick and 12 other counties. Tests are tail pipe 14 to 90 seconds plus a visual under hood for 12 dollars. The Frederick site is on Tilco Drive near Reichs Ford Road.
