Civil Suit Settled In Hagerstown Court
A two day civil suit scheduled for Monday in Circuit Court was canceled by an out of court settlement in Hagerstown. Plaintiff Austin E. Price of Hagerstown won damages from a motor vehicle accident on Dec. 17, 1968 involving driver Eric R. Staley. Price’s attorney Edwin Nikirk said 29 witnesses were ready for trial, but the case settled for a substantial amount at a conference with defense attorneys Miller Miller and Kuczynski.

Vandals Damage Vacant Home in Point of Rocks
Maryland State Police report vandals broke into a vacant Point of Rocks Estates home between Saturday 2 30 PM and Sunday 11 AM. They damaged the basement wall with obscenities. the caretaker for the Frederick Housing Administration of Baltimore owns the development.
