Ballenger Grange met March 12 at Community Hall Feagaville with a short business session. James Stup led the Lecturer program with youth members Robert Dudrow James Shaffer and Betty Younkins contributing. A round table discussed high school driver training. Mrs Monroe Stup led recreation to close. Forty five members and six visitors attended Carroll Manor Grange March 21 Master Harry Kanode presiding. New members recommended Melvin Cook Dorothy Cook Jesse Stup Jr Evers Shook Helen Shook Atlee Compher Virginia Compher Barbara Kanode Walter Gibbs Sr Walter Gibbs Jr Clara Gibbs Charlotte Gibbs Catherine Gibbs Helen Stup Howard Stup Jr Pomona Master L H Crickenberger gave brief notes on pending legislature. Home Economics chair will secure orders for The Grange Friend of the Farmer. The Grange marked its fifth birthday with a three tier cake and five large green candies and forsythia.
