Model Plane Club To Participate In Dahlgren Elimination
The Frederick Model Airplane Club enters a free flight elimination at Naval Weapons Laboratory Dahlgren Virginia on Sunday. Sponsored with the D C Maxe enter Model Airplane Club Washington and the Baltimore Aerocraftsmen Maryland. The Dahlgren event starts a series to qualify for the Olympic championships to be held in Sweden in 1965. Categories include powered Wakefield and Nordic Gliders under F A I rules. Five flights per competitor determine the winner by highest total flight time.
