Senator Mathias Backs 18-Year Jury Duty Bill
Senator Mathias joins Tunney and Hart to push legislation lowering the federal jury age from 21 to 18. He argues courts reflect society and youths deserve a voice, urging 18-year-olds to sit on juries and use voting to channel energy toward peaceful change. The measure aims to align juror eligibility with the 18-year-old voting right.
