Night Sky Demonstration At Local Astronomy Club
Members of the geology and minerals club enjoyed a space demonstration led by Mr. Kerns who projected a realistic night sky, sun moon positions, and seasonal changes. The session featured a skylight dome, a satellite display, and guidance on star identification with references to Polaris, the Great Dipper and the Southern Cross. Visitors from Mt Airy joined, and birthday wishes were shared for Melvin Engle. Demonstration plots covered red clover varieties for farmers and enthusiasts.
