Farm machinery in Southern California wheat fields

A New York Evening Post correspondent reports that steam farming is rapidly transforming Southern California. The engine runs about 110 acres daily. last year 6,000 acres were harvested by it. A Gudores ranch investment proves economical, while a smaller area would not justify the outlay.
