Police promotions roll in Montgomery County roster shift
Montgomery Bureau reports a major promotion wave in Rockville with John C. Lammers named Lieutenant Colonel succeeding Lt. Col. Howes. Wayne G. Brown becomes Deputy Superintendent, replacing Bechtel, and Thomas Thear advances to Maj. as Lammers’ successor. Additional personnel moves include several lieutenants captains and sergeants promoted or reassigned effective July 13 1975.
