Gordon history book gifted to Frederick County schools

Authors Paul and Rita Gordon donated their manuscript A Textbook of Frederick County History to the Board of Education with no financial gain. The board printed 400 copies: 150 to schools, 200 to the Bicentennial Committee for sale at four dollars, and 50 to libraries and review files. The Bicentennial funds covered printing costs, and more copies can be produced at cost if needed. Mrs Gordon joins the Board of Education. no conflict of interest.
