Two Killed in Virginia Cycle Auto Crash
Two young Virginia motorcyclists died Wednesday when their bikes collided with a car at Md 355 and Ball Road. Allan William Van Buren, 20, of Alexandria, and Warren Green Thorpe, 24, of Clifton, were killed after William Vince Sesco, 23, of Frederick, turning left onto Ball Road, failed to see the northbound Suzuki and struck the cycle.

Two Charged In Libertytown Bank Robbery
Baltimore men Vincent Reynolds and Jerome Shaw were charged with armed robbery of the Libertytown Farmers and Mechanics Bank and of a bank customer. About $6,000 was stolen including more than $400 from a customer. Police halted their vehicle near Md 140 Engler Road and recovered nearly $6,000. A bond hearing is set today.
