Bank Robbery At Liberty Branch Reported By State Police
The Liberty branch of Farmers and Mechanics National Bank was robbed at 10 50 a m by two black males who fled with an undetermined amount. They were last seen eastbound on May 26 in a white 1973 Chevrolet driven by a black female. Weapons and amount were not disclosed. State Police crime lab from Hagerstown and a police helicopter from Andrews AFB were en route to Libertytown.
