4-H Therapeutic Riding Program Gets Ramp Aid
Frederick County 4-H Therapeutic Riding School benefits from a mobile handicap ramp donated by local groups led by the Frederick County-Western Dance Association. Volunteers, horses, and community donors sustain nearly 40 students ages 5 to 80 with conditions from Down syndrome to cerebral palsy, expanding to include cart riding for wheelchair users. Volunteers receive six hours of training. spring sessions begin with a training day on April 25.
