EMMITSBURG The town planning commission faced confusion Monday after learning the county issued permits for a Main Street Deli basement space change without town approval. Proprieter Philip Postelle had county permits for a video arcade and liquor license, but did not seek town review for a change of use. The commission will discuss the mixup with the county and Mr. Postelle before resolving the issue. In other business, Pembroke Subdivision preliminaries were approved with a 32 ft wide Brookfield Drive variance and no parking. A temporary sidewalk notice for Donald Geiger’s tax season business and a home based manicure business for Debbie Wills were also approved.
