County mails 17315 assessment notices in Frederick area
Frederick County will mail 17 315 assessment notices today to northern and western area property owners. The notices show new assessed values but not tax bills, which set the tax rate. Total assessed value across these areas declined slightly to about 2.036 billion from 2.040 billion. Current tax rate remains 2.26 per 100.
