Maryland fair rewards 4-H dairy champions across counties
At the Maryland State Fair in Timonium the two day dairy shows crowned champions across breeds. Frederick County produced multiple division winners while Donovan Hollingsworth of Queen Anne's County won the supreme Holstein and best bred and owned trophies, and Katie Dixon of Kent County topped the overall fitting and showing for Guernsey. Open class events begin with Ayrshire judging and the tractor contest, capped by the 4-H fashion revue.
