Doubs Substation Aims as Largest In Power Net
The Doubs substation near Frederick County will become the largest in the Potomac Edison system with a 560000 volt capacity, nearly doubling current load. The $4 million project links the Loudoun Virginia and Mt Storm West Virginia installations, with partial completion expected early next year and full completion by May 1967. News-Post photographer Nelson Brooks captured unique views of the site.
