Infant Girl Dies as Truck Overturns
An month old infant, Lisa Hanna Gordon of Damascus, died from a fractured skull after her mother's panel truck overturned on Route 27 at Sweepstakes Road in Rockville. School Board Accepts TJ School Contract Penalty
Frederick County Board of Education accepted TJ Gov Thomas Johnson High School after deducting 5600 from the total cost as liquidated damages for 28 days of delay. Superintendent Dr John L Carnochan said the contractor Henry A Knott Construction Co of Baltimore will not contest the penalty. The base contract was 5061246 52 with changes. A separate outside work contract by R F Kline Construction Co of Frederick for grading is complete.
