Another Appeal for Street Improvement Near Fair Grounds
An appeal is made today for road work by the State Roads Commission on Patrick Street from the hosiery mill to the Fair Grounds. J M Dronenburg travels to Baltimore to meet with C E Weller as Leo Weinberg and Thomas H Maller note the state owns the road and should fund repairs. The city denies interest, the railroad laid tracks with a right of way through the line, and the project could be completed for a small cost after the commission denied the city’s request.
