New York dispatch says Mrs Rudolph Frank, mother of Loco M. Frank, collapsed upon learning her son had been lynched by a Georgia mob. A physician tended her at Brooklyn home, where she refused further contact. Sister Mrs Louis Sterna stayed with her, while neighbors noted an eight hour mourning period under Hebrew custom.
Coroner Booth of Cobb County Georgia has empaneled a jury to investigate the Leo Frank lynching case. The inquiry aims to identify those responsible, with witnesses appearing and further counsel to be added. Frank's body was displayed at an Atlanta undertaker before planned transport to Brooklyn for burial.
