Engineer Matt Gienn failed to heed a block signal causing Train No 4 to crash into local No 82. Rescue teams and local volunteers aided amid a battlefield like scene as mangled coaches and drowned passengers were reported. Boy Scouts aided in rescues while authorities organized care at Sulphur Springs station.

Man Arrested for Homicide in Rooming House Death
