Two Held For Murder In Howard County Slaying

William Carter Kronmiller 29 and Mary Belle Pease 27 are jailed at Ellicott City charged with the murder of J Bernard Pattison of Howard County found May 18 with two bullet holes near Savage. Snakes Galore On Farm Near Middle Town
Emanuel Brown working for Alvey Summers on a farm near Middle Town found a copper snake under a wagon wheel. The wheel ran over the snake and 53 baby snakes crawled out. Oscar Summers Harold Summers and Joni Green were on the scene and killed most of the young snakes. Earlier Harold Summers killed a five foot black snake with a wagon whip near the end of hay mowing.
