South African firm to locate vitamin plant in Frederick County
Capricorn Pharma, a Johannesburg vitamin maker, plans a U S plant in a 40,000 square foot leased warehouse at English Muffin Way in the Wedgewood Business Park. The deal, via Fitzgerald & Matan Realty, stems from a $4.5 million warehouse sale to Butera Properties. Officials declined comment. The move marks Capricorn’s first U S operation and comes with state incentives. Eagle Design will occupy 20,000 square feet in the same warehouse. space is available for 100,000 more square feet at $5 50 per square foot.
