Stanton says farewell as Western Maryland HSA picks acting director
At a Wednesday meeting in Hagerstown the Health Systems Agency of Western Maryland accepted Executive Director James R. Stanton’s resignation. Acting director Kory Hummel will start May 2, with a six month pro tempore term and a transition committee to evaluate. Salary for the acting post is 40,000 dollars, while Stanton pivots to Maryland’s Health Resources Planning Commission.
