Hadley may return soon. A C E society party yielded an indoor track meet and creative plans led by Daisy Newhouse.

Umatilla West Extension Land Opens for Entry March 6
Interior announces open entry for about 1300 acres in the second unit of the West Extension of the Umatilla Oregon reclamation project. Applicants must file a homestead application with fees and water-right proof by March 6 1917. Land lies along O W R N and N P Rys with rolling soils suitable for alfalfa fruits and vegetables.

Mortgage Foreclosure Against Newberg Property
In the Circuit Court of Oregon No 5873 United States National Bank of Newberg sues A. P. Oliver and others executors to foreclose a mortgage dated January 22 1916 recorded January 25 1916 in Yamhill County. The property in Newberg is Lots 2 and 3 in Block 17 Central Addition along with a described lot line and street boundaries. Judgment sought for $4650 plus interest from July 22 and $350 attorney fees plus costs. Public summons dated February 15 1917.
