Report of a local high school game at Mauch Chunk where the Quintet fell 57 to 30. The first half saw effort from Kishbaugh Dugan Bebing Isakde and Reabold, with efforts by Hilber and others. A later celebration honored Mr. Kve's birthday at South Main Street with neighbors and families in attendance.
Mrs Eu gene Trein and her son Whitefield erected a Christmas putz depicting the book of Moses on E Center street. It drew 1055 visitors this holiday season and marks the 25th year of her elaborate display. She built most miniature fixtures herself. Whitefield handled electrical work after attending Bliss Electrical College. Preparation took weeks. she plans a new display next year for the public.
The sixty first annual report of Northampton County prison inspectors shows 1932 cost per prisoner per day at 1.17 dollars, down 15 cents from 1931 and the lowest in years. Prisoner days averaged 129, with total maintenance at 57 808.40 dollars and inmates, transfers, and labor revenues detailed across departments. The report lists admissions, dispositions, health status, education, trades, and staffing, noting minimal incidents and no escapes.
The Silver Cross Circle of King's Daughters held a covered dish supper Tuesday with 30 members. An informal meeting followed as Mrs. A. E. Frantz presented a talk on the origin and history of the organization. The one hundred fourteenth annual session of East Pennsylvania Classis of the Reformed Church in the United States will meet at Christ Reformed Church Bethlehem Pa February 7 and 8 1933. Officers and reports will be presented with a evening conference on The Consistory and Its Work. East Pennsylvania Classis covers territory east of the Lehigh River west of the Delaware River with 16571 active members across 64 congregations served by 43 ministers.
The degree team of the Daughters of America met Monday evening at Stella Koch's home. President Cora Correll led the gathering as one new member, Dorothy Schoenberger, was welcomed. A program featured readings by Stella Koch, Pennsylvania Dutch dialect stories by Leda Oswald, and games led by Sadie Kern, followed by refreshments.
The Nazareth Rod and Gun Club sponsors a booster ball shooting match at the Nazareth Fair Grounds. The event is scheduled for Saturday afternoon February 18 at 1 o'clock, with tickets obtainable from club members.

The Nazareth Board of Health met in the Municipal Building with full attendance. They reviewed secretary and health officer monthly reports and adopted a policy to shift fumigation duties to households released from quarantine. Fumigation remains available for scarlet fever or similar cases if requested. The health officer was instructed to thoroughly clean wood, clothing, and cages with a germ killing solution when no fumigation is demanded.
The Zhonta camp fire girls met Tuesday evening at the Reformed church with Mrs. Clarence Roeder in charge. A regular business session planned a Valentine party. Nineteen members attended the Temorial meeting with ritual readings and bead awards.
