Georgia Pacific held its annual stockholders meeting in Crossett Arkansas. R B Pamplin president said first quarter 1963 sales net income and cash flow reached record highs. per share earnings were 60 cents versus 56 cents last year and cash flow was 1.57 dollars versus 1.38. He outlined a shift to more profitable fir products and increased fir plywood while reducing fir lumber in Oregon and shutting the Booth Kelley mill at Springfield.

County School Named By Board
The rural school board announced Perry Johnson as County School Superintendent to replace retiree Miks Lillian Farley. Johnson, rejected from 10 applicants, will resign as elementary principal at McKenzie River school and begin duties in Coquille July 1 after five years at McKenzie.
